Job Summary:

The role of Project Manager/QA is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of IT services and vendor management. This position will be responsible for providing strategic oversight and operational support to various business partners during the IT procurement and contracting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Relationship Management: Act as a trusted advisor to agency leadership, ensuring that IT needs and priorities are met. Communicate project statuses, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including federal partners and legislators.
  • IT Vendor Management: Oversee vendor contracts and manage relationships to ensure alignment with business requirements and strategic objectives. Collaborate with vendors to meet operational needs and maintain compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Contract Development and Oversight: Provide guidance on IT system procurement and contracting, advising on the use of various contract vehicles to manage vendor accountability effectively.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track IT performance metrics against contractual obligations and ensure adherence to standards and processes. Conduct evaluations to assess contractor performance and customer service levels.
  • Strategic Development: Work with key stakeholders to enhance vendor management processes and capabilities, ensuring effective communication and alignment with business goals.
