A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a position that offers significant career advancement opportunities with full-time hours exceeding 40 hours per week.

Position Overview:
The LPN will deliver comprehensive, evidence-based healthcare, which includes precise assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health issues, health education, and planning for patient care.

This role encompasses education and treatment related to pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and promoting safer sexual practices.

Contract Details:
This is a contractual role with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position based on attendance, performance, and organizational requirements.

Benefits:
Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after a specified period, which includes health, vision, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance. Additionally, a 401(k) plan with company matching is available after one year of service.

Position Details and Compensation:
Location: 100% on-site
Hourly Rate: $30.40

Work Schedule:
Rotating shifts, including weekends, with 32-38 hours per week between 8:30 AM and 7:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Administer immunizations and injections, including but not limited to COVID-19, influenza, and TB, while providing evidence-based vaccine counseling and education to patients and their families.
2. Conduct phlebotomy and specimen collection services.
3. Assess patients during the intake process.
4. Measure vital signs.
5. Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG and Retinopathy screening.
6. Execute Point of Care testing, including COVID testing.
7. Manage patient registration and intake, assist with waiting room operations, and undertake other tasks to enhance the patient experience.
8. Order necessary equipment and prepare the clinic to ensure optimal patient care.
9. Contribute to our mission of guiding individuals towards improved health through exceptional patient-focused interactions and activities.

Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
2. Graduate from an accredited Practical or Vocational Nursing program recognized by the State Agency or the National League for Nursing.
3. Attendance is mandatory for the initial period.
4. A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
5. Proficiency in documenting within an Electronic Medical Record system.
6. Capability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and conduct Point of Care Testing.
7. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and operation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
8. Ability to pass a FIT test and wear the required respirator mask when necessary.
9. The LPN must possess a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in the applicable state.
