Notion operates primarily in-person, requiring employees to be present in the office for two designated Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and encouraging a majority of in-office work throughout the week.
About The Role:
Oversee a substantial portfolio of clients in the AMER region.
Facilitate onboarding and growth of our customer base through personalized Notion consultations, training sessions, and support programs.
Develop and implement large-scale outreach initiatives to key stakeholders to promote Notion adoption.
Collaborate across departments with sales teams to ensure effective utilization of Notion.
Act as our internal product advocate to enhance customer workflows and maximize their return on investment with Notion.
Identify and engage with strategic clients to boost monthly active users and seat growth.Proactively reach out to customers who may not be fully leveraging Notion and devise action plans to support their success.
Contribute to shaping our overall growth strategy.What You'll Achieve:
Drive the adoption and expansion of a product that genuinely addresses real-world issues: Notion is utilized by some of the largest corporations to manage extensive teams, while also being accessible for personal use by friends and family for tasks like note-taking and photo display.
Help establish the foundations of Customer Success at Notion: As an early member of our sales and success team, your contributions will be crucial in defining our sales-assisted processes.
Serve as a trusted advisor and product expert for our customers: You will conduct training, onboarding, and collaborative sessions to educate clients and explore new use cases for Notion.
Meaningfully shape our future product:
By engaging with customers, you will gather insights that will enhance our service offerings and collaborate with the product team to inform future developments.
Enhance your skills as we tackle significant challenges: Our achievements surpass those of teams ten times our size in a shorter timeframe, and there is still much to learn and accomplish.
Skills You'll Need To Bring:
3+ years of experience in a rapidly growing software organization
A proven track record of success in a Customer Success or Account Management role
Experience managing a substantial number of accounts
A strong intrinsic motivation to excel and contribute to team success
A growth mindset, thriving in the early stages of team development
A passion for helping others succeed and grow through collaboration
Highly adaptable, easily adjusting to a fast-paced business environment
A genuine interest in connecting with new individuals and assisting them in solving their business challenges.
Nice To Haves:
Experience in developing Customer Success playbooks or processes
Background in scaled program management or campaign development in Outreach
Familiarity with Notion
Curiosity about data and insights, with experience using Salesforce and Gainsight
Experience as an early hire in a fast-growing startup
Strong technical skills.

The compensation for this role will be determined based on various factors, including location, the complexity of the role, and the candidate's experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below.
For roles based in San Francisco, the estimated hourly rate for this position is $50.77 per hour, with a variable target of $21,200 - $26,400, calculated to an OTE (On-Target Earnings) range of $106,000 - $132,000 per year.
