Position Summary:
We are a reputable manufacturing firm specializing in truss and lumber products, looking for a dedicated Inside Sales Coordinator. This role serves as a vital connection between our organization and our clientele, ensuring the promotion of our premium offerings while delivering outstanding customer service. The Inside Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the Outside Sales Associate by managing essential tasks, thereby allowing for a seamless sales process. Establishing and nurturing relationships both internally and externally is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
The Inside Sales Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Acting as a liaison between the Outside Sales Associate and both existing and prospective customers.
- Keeping account records updated, including change orders, warranties, and vendor services.
- Assisting the Accounting department and Outside Sales Associates in resolving customer-related issues.
- Demonstrating product knowledge through samples or catalogs, highlighting key features that appeal to customers.
- Interpreting blueprints, conducting takeoffs, and providing bids/quotes to clients.
- Assessing customer requirements and recommending appropriate products or solutions.
- Entering new customer information and sales data into Project Management software.
- Exhibiting exceptional communication skills to convey messages clearly to customers and various departments.
- Completing tasks diligently and ensuring follow-through from initiation to conclusion.
- Adhering to all relevant company, state, and federal policies and regulations.
- Performing additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years in an administrative role (preferred).
- At least one year of coordinating experience within the lumber or truss sector.
- A background of 3+ years in sales within the manufacturing or lumber/truss industry.
- A high school diploma or GED; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
