Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy and Oversight:
  • Formulate and execute financial strategies that align with the organization's mission and objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting cycle and provide ongoing forecasts to track financial performance.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analyses to inform strategic decision-making, including cost-benefit evaluations and risk assessments.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports to senior leadership, emphasizing critical insights and actionable recommendations.
Financial Governance:
  • Establish and uphold stringent financial controls to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
  • Oversee internal audit functions and implement enhancements based on audit findings.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to strengthen financial governance and risk management.
Operational Effectiveness:
  • Manage and monitor cash flow, working capital, and investment activities to ensure financial health.
  • Enhance financial operations through process optimization and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial strategies support operational objectives.
Leadership and Team Development:
  • Guide and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to keep the team's skills and knowledge up to date.
  • Work alongside other directors and department heads to drive strategic initiatives and enhance organizational performance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and governance.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in formulating and executing financial strategies and controls.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with advanced skills in Excel.
