Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at the Office of the Chief Financial Officer in Washington, DC. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for providing support in the areas of budget formulation, execution, and monitoring, as well as contracting and procurement, purchase card administration, and time reporting review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the annual budget formulation process and serve as the informational contact for the contracting office.
  • Maintain accurate accountability of department/program financial resources in compliance with policies and regulations and the overall efficiency of financial operations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Two (2) years of progressive experience performing related duties and responsibilities, such as assisting with budget formulation and preparing financial reports, tracking expenditures, reconciling financial accounts, and conducting financial analysis.
  • Experience with financial systems and Microsoft Office applications.
