Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for building format-specific content strategies and leading partnerships with music festival promoters. You will work closely across the Amazon Music organization to accelerate the Global Content Organization's (GCO) goals by developing innovative programs that drive business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop program-level strategies using your deep knowledge of core global content business objectives.
  • Drive business and senior leadership reviews of this strategy and align cross-functional teams toward a shared vision to effectively drive GCO's business objectives.
  • Lead negotiations and partnerships with festival promoters, including the management of cross-functional stakeholders.
  • In partnership with the Data and Insights team, develop strategic program-level readout documents outlining content performance versus incoming objectives and forward-looking recommendations.
  • Define and oversee cross-channel content strategy and execution for priority programs, including KPI definition and optimization, SOP definition for execution, experimentation plan and results analysis, reporting mechanisms, best practices documentation, playbooks definition and sharing.
  • Manage program-level budget.
  • Partner with global teams to share best practices and develop strategies for localization.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience.
  • 3+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:

Aplus experience in online advertising or high-tech products/services, interpreting data and making business recommendations, influencing internal and external stakeholders would be advantageous.

Compensation:

This position offers a base pay range of $74,400/year to $159,200/year, depending on the location. In addition to competitive compensation, Amazon offers a total compensation package that includes equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits.
