Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee technical and project management for assigned initiatives or significant phases of major projects by coordinating the efforts of designated technical personnel.
  • Structure projects and manage task distributions within established budgetary and scheduling parameters.
  • May supervise the activities and personnel of a research or technical business unit.
  • Accountable for the overall performance of the unit within budget and timeline constraints.
  • May identify and propose objectives and scopes for technical projects.
  • Communicate goals, scopes, methodologies, and timelines to assigned team members.
  • Establish budgets, forecasts, manpower, equipment, and supply requirements for the designated area of responsibility.
  • Develop and coordinate contract deliverables and documentation.
  • Prepare management plans and comprehensive reports.
  • Guide team members in the completion of proposals, contract deliverables, task order evaluations, briefings, and presentations.
  • Provide expert knowledge and guidance to the client, typically acquired through relevant technical education.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Possess management experience alongside a relevant degree and extensive knowledge in the assigned technical discipline.
  • Typically, extensive knowledge and experience within the designated technical field are required.
  • Level I Requirements:
    • 10-14 years of relevant experience.
  • Level II Requirements:
    • 15-19 years of relevant experience.
  • Level III Requirements:
    • 20-24 years of relevant experience.
  • Level IV Requirements:
    • 25+ years of relevant experience.

Security Clearance:

An Active Secret Clearance is mandatory for consideration.
