Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee technical and project management for assigned initiatives or major segments of significant projects by coordinating the efforts of designated technical personnel.
- Organize project tasks and workloads in accordance with budgetary and scheduling constraints.
- May manage the activities and personnel of a research or technical business unit.
- Accountable for the overall performance of the unit within budget and schedule parameters.
- May identify and propose objectives and the scope of technical projects.
- Communicate goals, scope, methodology, and timelines to assigned team members.
- Establish budgets, forecasts, and resource requirements for the area of responsibility.
- Develop and coordinate contract deliverables and documentation.
- Prepare management plans and reports.
- Guide team members in the completion of proposals, contract deliverables, task order reviews, briefings, and presentations.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to clients, typically achieved through relevant technical education.
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven management experience alongside a relevant degree and extensive knowledge in the assigned technical field.
- Typically possesses extensive expertise within the designated technical discipline.
- Level I Requirements:
- 10-14 years of relevant experience.
- Level II Requirements:
- 15-19 years of relevant experience.
- Level III Requirements:
- 20-24 years of relevant experience.
- Level IV Requirements:
- 25+ years of relevant experience.
Security Clearance:
An Active Secret Clearance is a prerequisite for consideration.
