About the Role:
As a Care Specialist, you will provide compassionate support to senior residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. While certification is not mandatory, it is advantageous. If you have a passion for assisting and learning from senior adults, we invite you to be part of Thrive Senior Living.

Educational Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10th-grade education is required.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Current CPR certification is essential, and we provide training within your first month.

Experience:
  • Preferred experience includes at least six months in assisted living, nursing homes, memory care, hospitals, or similar healthcare settings.

Essential Skills:
  • Monitor and assess changes in residents' physical and emotional needs.
  • Exhibit care, compassion, and respect towards residents.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing resident and family concerns promptly.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Plan and manage time effectively to ensure quality care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and written communication.

Key Responsibilities:
Care Specialists are responsible for delivering routine care that prioritizes residents' comfort and safety, adhering to all relevant regulations and community policies. Key duties include:
  • Implement individualized service plans for residents.
  • Recognize and respond to residents' needs promptly.
  • Report any changes in residents' conditions to supervisors.
  • Support residents' independence in decision-making.
  • Document care provided and report incidents as necessary.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Measure and record vital signs accurately.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas.
  • Assist residents in engaging with social and recreational activities.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of residents at all times.
