Position Summary


We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide comprehensive information technology (IT) support services essential for achieving enterprise goals. This role encompasses IT Services, System Operations, Network Support, and Cyber Security, specifically tailored to meet the needs of the Program Executive Office Aviation (PEO AVN).

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of computer systems and peripheral devices under supervision.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts for efficient repair operations.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding software and hardware issues.
  • Diagnose problems and guide customers through resolution steps.
  • Provide technical support for mobile devices, including setup, training, and compliance with relevant policies.
  • Keep accurate records of mobile devices and support services.
  • Offer assistance in logging, routing, and resolving technical issues, ensuring timely follow-up.
Qualifications

Certifications Required

  • A+ or DoD IAT Level I Certification (to be obtained within 6 months of employment)
Experience and Education

  • Fewer than 5 years of relevant experience
  • Associate's degree or completion of a technical program
Essential Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Experience with Office 365 (or versions 2016 and later).
  • Skilled in application installation and removal within Windows OS.
  • Strong research skills for troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of basic computer components and systems administration.
  • Familiarity with incident and problem management processes.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and networking concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and network printers.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management systems (e.g., Service Now, Remedy).
Work Environment

  • The work setting is generally favorable, with adequate lighting and temperature control, free from hazardous conditions.
Physical Demands

  • Sedentary role with occasional lifting of small items (up to 10 lbs).
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, and perform repetitive motions as needed.
