In this position, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and address the learning strategies and development requirements of our clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors. You will confidently oversee the management of innovative and actionable learning strategies and solutions that we develop. Setting the project vision, guiding the team, and contributing to deliverables are essential aspects of this role, necessitating strong critical thinking skills and a background in organizational transformation or a keen interest in learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and nurture robust relationships with clients throughout project lifecycles.
  • Oversee project timelines and coordinate internal resources to ensure high-quality deliverables are produced on schedule and within budget.
  • Communicate project status updates effectively to both internal teams and clients.
  • Create project initiation presentations, status reports, executive summaries, and case studies, while facilitating and documenting client meetings.
  • Manage and update multiple project work plans and streams concurrently.
  • Coordinate team members involved in client projects, including content developers, editors, graphic designers, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct situational and needs assessments to inform project roadmaps, logistics, and design.
  • Assist the Project Lead in defining the strategic objectives of projects and collaborating with clients and the broader Salience Learning team to establish learning goals.
  • Support the development of learning solution deliverables, applying adult learning and instructional design principles as needed.
  • Articulate the value of Salience's learning strategies and design choices to clients.
  • Review deliverables in detail, providing guidance and feedback to ensure quality before client submission.
  • Participate in staffing discussions to ensure projects are adequately resourced.
  • Provide performance feedback for project team members as required.
  • Track client requests and global changes to maintain consistency across program deliverables.
  • Prepare and conduct training sessions, managing all logistical aspects.
  • Efficiently navigate the client's legal, medical, and regulatory review processes for each deliverable.
  • Identify potential project opportunities and collaborate with leadership to promote future business development.
  • Support internal initiatives related to upskilling, process improvement, and business development as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting within a life sciences strategy consulting practice or agency, with a focus on learning, commercial effectiveness, medical excellence, or organizational transformation.
  • 6+ years of project management experience, including managing multiple project work plans.
  • Strong business acumen in the pharmaceutical sector, covering commercial, marketing, and market access.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Demonstrated client management capabilities.
  • Experience in setting project vision and developing deliverables.
  • Interest in learning and organizational transformation through structured behavior change.
  • Proven track record of achieving goals with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms.
  • Experience with Apple Mac laptops is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation capabilities.
