We are seeking a skilled Revenue Cycle Business Consultant with expertise in EPIC systems to collaborate with a leading healthcare institution.
Position Overview:
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- Compensation: $60.91 per hour
- Contract Opportunity: Potential for permanent placement
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for interdepartmental processes, systems, external vendors, and payers.
- Serve as a strategic business process consultant, bridging operations, performance enhancement, and IT to address cross-functional needs.
- Implement adaptable processes that respond effectively to evolving organizational, business, and payer requirements.
- Enhance existing departmental relationships to facilitate performance improvement initiatives.
- Analyze business processes and system changes that may affect current workflows, recommending optimization strategies.
- Evaluate system or process architecture relevant to assigned projects.
- Conduct business impact assessments of test plans that span multiple departments or systems, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
- Design, refine, and support the execution of processes that integrate seamlessly with system workflows.
- Assess the impact of workflows on staffing, ensuring continuous monitoring and recommending effective change management strategies.
- Foster clear communication and create an environment conducive to open dialogue, facilitating collaborative problem-solving.
- Lead cross-functional teams to address complex issues related to automated workflows, collaborating with business and operational leaders to analyze reporting needs and develop tailored reports.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years in system design, process workflow design, or business/systems consulting, with a focus on EPIC Mechanics and Revenue Cycle.
- Certifications:
EPIC certification preferred
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB)
