About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Systems Engineer to join our team at RTX. In this role, you will be responsible for performing systems engineering tasks associated with the reliability, maintainability, supportability, and FRACAS of military systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing systems engineering tasks associated with the reliability, maintainability, supportability, and FRACAS of military systems
  • Analyzing engineering drawings, influencing product maintainability design decisions, and helping to ensure system design meets operational requirements
  • Learning the theory behind how electronic warfare systems work and influencing system design and development
  • Working with experienced Reliability engineers to learn all areas and work products within the Life Cycle Engineering discipline
  • Independently performing FRACAS processes, FMECA, Failure Diagnosis and Data/Trend Analysis, and Reliability Demonstration Testing on multiple programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 2 years of Engineering experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience with Reliability, Systems or Safety Engineering
  • Experience gathering and/or analyzing data
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Clearance Information:

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
