Systems Engineer II

Raytheon is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer II to join our Advanced Airborne RF (AARF) Systems Engineering department in Goleta, California. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our Electronic Warfare Systems product line.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine product or system requirements based on customer information and provide traceability to these requirements.
- Capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents.
- Ensure requirements are clear, concise, understandable, and verifiable.
- Trace the flow of requirements between different parts of the program to ensure all areas have complete information.
- Assess requirement changes for impact to the overall system and subsystems and track implemented changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior systems engineering experience.
- Experience with systems design and requirements engineering on EW/Radar programs.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Strong RF experience and knowledge of microwave modules.
- Technical team leadership experience of minimum of three engineers.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, MBSE with DevSecOps).
- Experience leading STE development (and prime hardware) test activities.
- Experience with security requirements related to government testing.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
