Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer II to join our team at RTX. As a key member of our Electronic Warfare Systems department, you will be responsible for determining product or system requirements based on customer information and ensuring traceability to these requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine product or system requirements based on customer information
  • Ensure requirements are clear, concise, understandable, and verifiable
  • Trace the flow of requirements between different parts of the program
  • Ensure all requirement changes are assessed for impact to the overall system and subsystems

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior systems engineering experience
  • Experience with systems design and requirements engineering on EW/Radar programs
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong RF experience and knowledge of microwave modules
  • Technical team leadership experience of minimum of three engineers
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, MBSE with DevSecOps)
  • Experience leading STE development (and prime hardware) test activities
  • Experience with security requirements related to government testing
