Job Title: Universal Banker / Personal Banker

Main Responsibilities:
  • This role is primarily office-based, requiring on-site presence to effectively fulfill duties.
  • Under direct supervision, you will be tasked with providing an outstanding client service experience while assisting clients with a comprehensive array of banking products and services.
  • Engage with clients in person, through phone, and via email, addressing inquiries and delivering requested information.
  • Responsible for executing and/or submitting various administrative and operational tasks related to client services and banking products.
  • Key activities may involve initiating requests for new accounts, closing accounts, maintaining account details, and addressing client inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process client account servicing requests promptly, including but not limited to wire transfers, documentation preparation, account openings and closures, and maintaining accurate account records.
  • Manage cash transactions and daily balancing activities.
  • Adhere to all banking operations policies and procedures as outlined in internal documentation.
  • Balance cash drawers according to established procedures.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the processes involved in each request, collaborating with relevant teams to gather necessary information for accurate execution.
  • Maintain compliance with policies and procedures, ensuring timely responses to activities while adhering to risk management and compliance guidelines.
  • Acquire knowledge of business applications essential for client servicing and seek to stay updated on technological enhancements to improve service standards.
  • Assist with the maintenance and servicing of Safe Deposit Boxes where applicable.
  • Stay informed about new or existing banking products and services to effectively respond to client inquiries and promote service offerings.
  • Monitor banking reports and assist with audits as directed by management.
Performance Metrics:
  • Provide examples demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of current operational procedures.
  • Maintain satisfactory audit records by achieving acceptable audit results with no recurring risk issues.
  • Exhibit proficiency in navigating various programs efficiently.
  • Document special assignments or projects as required.
Business Development:
  • Maintain a foundational knowledge of client products and services to facilitate appropriate referrals.
  • Collaborate with management or subject matter experts to explore potential client opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Familiarity with federal regulations, banking guidelines, and operations, preferably gained through related experience.
  • Strong client service, problem-solving, and organizational skills to effectively address client requests.
  • Ability to think critically and work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deliver exceptional service to clients and partners in a professional manner.
  • Engage clients with respect and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Seek guidance from management when uncertain about adherence to procedures and compliance standards.
