Position Title: Universal Banker / Personal Banker

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, standard business hours

Overview:
  • This role requires a physical presence in the office to effectively perform duties.
  • Under supervision, you will provide outstanding client service while assisting customers with a comprehensive array of banking solutions.
  • Engage with clients through various channels, including face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and emails, addressing inquiries and delivering requested information.
  • Responsible for executing administrative and operational tasks related to client accounts and banking services.
  • Key responsibilities include setting up new accounts, closing existing accounts, maintaining account information, and addressing client questions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process client account requests promptly, including fund transfers, documentation preparation, account openings and closures, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage cash transactions and perform daily balancing activities.
  • Adhere to all operational policies and procedures as outlined in company guidelines.
  • Balance cash drawers in accordance with established procedures.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the processes involved in each request, collaborating with relevant teams to gather necessary information.
  • Maintain compliance with all policies and procedures, addressing requirements in a timely manner and escalating any issues to management.
  • Stay informed about business applications essential for client servicing and seek to enhance knowledge of the latest technological advancements.
  • Assist with the management of Safe Deposit Boxes where applicable.
  • Keep updated on new and existing banking products and services to effectively respond to client inquiries and promote offerings.
  • Monitor banking reports and assist with audits as directed.
Performance Metrics:
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of current operational procedures.
  • Maintain satisfactory audit results with no recurring risk issues.
  • Exhibit proficiency in navigating banking software efficiently.
  • Document special projects or assignments as required.
Business Development:
  • Possess a foundational knowledge of banking products to facilitate appropriate referrals.
  • Collaborate with management to identify potential client opportunities.
Performance Indicators:
  • Provide examples of positive feedback received from management regarding referral activities.
  • Exhibit a constructive and approachable demeanor in support of team objectives.
  • Demonstrate consistent productivity and follow-through on assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • Familiarity with banking regulations and operations is preferred.
  • Strong client service, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Provide exceptional service to clients and partners with professionalism.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all client interactions.
  • Seek guidance from management when necessary to ensure compliance with procedures and regulations.
