Job Title: Universal Banker / Personal Banker

Main Responsibilities:
  • This role is office-based, requiring onsite presence for effective performance.
  • Under supervision, responsible for providing an outstanding client service experience while assisting clients with a comprehensive range of banking products and services.
  • Engages with clients in person, via phone, and through email, addressing inquiries and delivering requested information.
  • Handles various administrative and operational tasks related to client services and banking products.
  • Primary duties include setting up new accounts, closing accounts, maintaining accounts, and addressing client inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Processes client account service requests promptly, including wire transfers, account openings, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Manages cash transactions and ensures daily balancing activities are completed.
  • Adheres to all operational policies and procedures as outlined.
  • Balances cash drawers according to established procedures.
  • Develops a thorough understanding of the processes involved in each request, collaborating with relevant teams to gather necessary information.
  • Maintains knowledge of policies and procedures, ensuring timely compliance with risk management and compliance guidelines.
  • Gains proficiency in business applications essential for client servicing and seeks to stay updated on technological enhancements.
  • Assists with the management of Safe Deposit Boxes where applicable.
  • Stays informed about new and existing banking products and services to effectively respond to client inquiries and promote services.
  • Monitors banking reports and assists with audits as directed.
Performance Metrics:
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of current operational procedures.
  • Maintains satisfactory audit records with no recurring risk issues.
  • Exhibits proficiency in navigating various programs efficiently.
  • Documents special projects or assignments.
Business Development:
  • Possesses basic knowledge of client products and services for appropriate referrals.
  • Collaborates with management or subject matter experts to identify potential client opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Familiarity with federal regulations, banking guidelines, and operations is preferred.
  • Strong client service, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to think critically and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Provides exceptional service to clients and partners in a professional manner.
  • Engages clients with a welcoming demeanor and professional tone.
  • Seeks guidance from management when necessary to ensure adherence to procedures and compliance standards.
