Key Responsibilities
  • Generate sales of all product categories, including destination, enhancement, and lifestyle products.
  • Maintain updated product knowledge and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stock and replenish merchandise, ensuring that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Coordinate product exchange and transfers, ensuring seamless inventory management.
  • Stamp, mark, or tag price on merchandise, maintaining accurate pricing and inventory records.
  • Arrange displays to promote sales, creating an engaging and inviting shopping experience.
  • Complete sales transactions and maintain proper cash accountabilities, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining the orderly appearance of the store, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Fulfill tanks and conduct inspections following company-sponsored VIP training, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices, upholding the highest standards of customer service and sales excellence.
Requirements
  • Previous customer service experience, with a minimum of six months sales or related experience preferred.
  • Certified Scuba Diver or Dive Instructor highly desirable; if not currently certified, must complete at least the academic requirements of a scuba course within the first 90 days of employment.
  • A combination of education, certifications, and work experience may be qualifying.
  • Overall understanding of personal computer operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative setting with a diverse group of internal and external customers and vendors.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as dictated by retail needs.
  • Physical Requirements: Position requires employee to work on his/her feet 100% of the time, with the ability to bend, squat, lift/carry 40+ pounds, climb ladders, and access all areas of the store.
