Enterprise Customer Success Specialist in Construction Technology

We are seeking a Customer Success Engineer dedicated to enhancing the success of Procore's Enterprise and Strategic clientele. In this pivotal role, you will act as the product advocate for Procore, serving as a knowledgeable resource in the field. Your success will be measured by the customer's ability to adopt and gain measurable business improvements from their Procore investment. You will play a crucial role in transforming the operations of our construction clients by connecting them through a global platform.
As a proficient Customer Success Engineer, you will assist organizations in grasping best practices related to construction technology and the myriad of advantages they offer. You will thrive in a collaborative, innovative, and goal-oriented environment that prioritizes transparency, positivity, and accountability. In this position, you will utilize your consultative approach and understanding of the construction sector alongside Procore's software solutions to provide clients with valuable insights on maximizing their Procore technology investment and identifying additional products that could benefit them. You will work closely with various teams, including Sales, Professional Services, Support, Product, and Marketing. Ideal candidates will have a strong passion for both construction and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver data-driven insights to clients on optimizing the value of Procore, utilizing customer analytics and industry best practices.
- Create impactful presentations that address client business challenges and facilitate the adoption of the Procore platform.
- Communicate product roadmap and release updates to clients, ensuring they leverage our cutting-edge technology.
- Engage in product demonstrations and coordinate with multiple technical resources, both internal and external.
- Act as a technical account manager, providing exceptional responsiveness and customer service through clear communication.
- Encourage a positive team environment by supporting and mentoring colleagues.
- Collaborate across all levels of the Procore organization to establish best practices and advance Procore's position as a market leader.
- Achieve a comprehensive understanding of Procore's products, professional services, and industry best practices.
- Be prepared for up to 50% travel to client locations, industry events, and other Procore offices.
Qualifications:
- A strong enthusiasm for construction and technology.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science is preferred.
- Over 8 years of experience in Customer Success, Professional Services, or Technical Pre-Sales.
- More than 8 years of expertise in the construction industry is preferred.
- Ability to apply strong technical skills to master Procore's offerings, business model, services, and emerging technologies.
- Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on time-sensitive projects.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both in-person and virtually.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to derive meaningful insights from complex data.
- Experience as a technology advocate promoting modernization in the construction sector is a plus.
- Familiarity with various construction industry sectors (general contracting, subcontracting, real estate development, etc.) is advantageous.
- Prior experience in roles such as construction Project Manager, Site Supervisor, Project Finance Manager, Estimator, or Project Engineer is preferred.
- Experience managing construction projects, including bidding, procurement, RFIs, submittals, drawings, specifications, documentation, scheduling, quality control, and safety is preferred.
- A positive and energetic presence in a fast-paced, diverse, and forward-thinking environment.
- Experience with top ENR construction firms and/or Fortune 500 companies is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base pay range is competitive, with additional commission opportunities. Procore is committed to offering fair and equitable compensation, with actual compensation determined by job-related skills, experience, education, and location.
