Position Overview:

The Project Coordinator will lead a team of professionals to ensure project completion within established timelines, aligning with business objectives. Responsibilities include budget allocation for various project components and advocating for additional resources when necessary. The role involves collaboration with Operations and Engineering to select project team members and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop both long-term and short-term project plans, establishing milestones and adhering to deadlines.
2. Assign tasks to team members based on their strengths and expertise.
3. Make informed decisions when faced with multiple options for project advancement.
4. Act as a liaison for teams when multiple departments are involved in the same project to ensure cohesive actions.
5. Communicate with executives to ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
6. Conduct quality control throughout the project lifecycle to maintain expected standards.
7. Adjust project schedules and targets as necessary based on changing needs or funding availability.
8. Support sales initiatives by participating in customer meetings and developing presentation strategies.
9. Thoroughly review customer requirements and specifications, including terms, conditions, and project-specific needs.
10. Initiate internal brainstorming sessions for concept development.
11. Solicit vendor quotations for critical equipment and develop technical specifications.
12. Create detailed proposals, including system descriptions, pricing breakdowns, and terms.
13. Identify and resolve project-related issues, collaborating with technical and commercial experts as needed.
14. Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
15. Ensure timely proposal submission and adherence to customer specifications.
16. Establish and execute project timelines based on customer requirements.
17. Manage project budgets effectively.
18. Facilitate communication across various divisions to ensure task understanding.
19. Address customer concerns and requirements promptly.
20. Provide regular updates on project progress to stakeholders.
21. Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors throughout the project.
22. Participate in all project-related meetings.
23. Oversee the design, manufacturing, assembly, and installation processes for assigned projects.
24. Ensure delivery of all project documentation to the customer.
25. Handle customer change orders efficiently.
26. Conduct project meetings to review performance and identify improvement opportunities.
27. Assist in the collection of payments from customers.
28. Serve as the Project Engineer when required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or PMP certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a company specializing in assembly machinery.
  • Proficient in systems related to power and free conveyance, indexing tables, and various transport methods.
  • Extensive experience with different types of assembly machines.
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer relations skills.
