About the Role

Benesch is seeking a skilled Construction Representative to join our team in Brighton, MI. As a key member of our Construction Services Group, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily inspection and documentation of infrastructure projects, including road, bridge, water main, and sewer construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily inspections and documentation of infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Lead the inspection or oversight of significant construction tasks with a high level of independence.
  • Prepare inspector's daily reports and other project documentation as required by project procedures.
  • Communicate with clients and project stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Assist with client relationships and contribute to strategic initiatives that drive the growth of the construction group.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Construction Engineering or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in construction or a related field, preferably with DOT experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
