**Job Title:** UAS Pilot Integrator

**Position Summary:**

The UAS Integrator is responsible for integrating third-party systems and technologies with our company's drone-based systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. This position requires strong technical expertise, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Integrate third-party systems and technologies with our company's drone-based systems, including sensors, software, and hardware components
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for integrated systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration meets customer requirements and technical specifications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working with internal teams and external vendors
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure successful integration of their systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UAS integration
  • Participate in testing and validation of integrated systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of UAS systems, including sensors, software, and hardware components

**Requirements:**

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field; Master's degree or higher preferred

**Experience:**

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, system integration, or a related field
  • Strong technical expertise in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java
  • Experience with UAS systems, sensors, and software components
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for UAS operations (e.g. FAA Part 107)
  • Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies in UAS integration

**Skills:**

  • Strong technical expertise in software development and system integration
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as Google Suite
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for UAS systems
  • Certification in drone operations (e.g. FAA Part 107)
