We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Growth Manager to join Karna LLC, a reputable government contracting company. This role is pivotal in driving aggressive growth within the next 2-4 years in the public health consulting space, targeting federal, state, and commercial opportunities.

About the Role:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the federal, state, and commercial sectors.
  • Lead capture efforts to secure new contracts and expand existing business.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the proposal development process, including writing, editing, and coordinating proposals.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and develop compelling proposals.
  3. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the public health consulting space.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and industry partners.
  5. Monitor and analyze competitor activities and market conditions.
  6. Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners.
  7. Track and report on business development activities and outcomes.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Health, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6-9 years of progressive experience in business development, capture management, and proposal management in federal government consulting.
  • Proven track record of securing new business and achieving growth targets.
  • Strong understanding of the public health and/or healthcare consulting space and related regulations.
  • Familiarity with Miller-Heiman principles and the Shipley method.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
