The National Adoption Association (NAA) is looking for a Senior Project Coordinator to enhance its initiatives.

Role Summary:

The Senior Project Coordinator will deliver administrative and programmatic assistance for two significant NAA programs: the National Opportunity Youth Workforce Development Program and the Ujima Black Family Program.

• The National Opportunity Youth Workforce Development Program aims to foster economic advancement for young individuals aged 16 to 24 who have been impacted by the criminal justice or child welfare systems.

• The Ujima Black Family Program is a transformative initiative that brings together child welfare leaders for comprehensive training and workshops, focusing on the importance of maintaining Black family connections to prevent youth from experiencing separation from their families.

This remote position reports directly to the Program Manager overseeing both programs.

Note: This role is funded through grants, and ongoing employment is contingent upon the continuation of funding.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience demonstrating expertise in managing event logistics, data oversight, and administrative support.

• A Bachelor's degree in social work or a related discipline is preferred.

• Previous experience in social services or child welfare is advantageous.

• Familiarity with opportunity youth or adults affected by the criminal justice or child welfare systems is preferred.

• Lived experience in child welfare or criminal justice systems is a plus.

Essential Skills:

• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with tools such as Survey Monkey, Qualtrics, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Zoom, and project management software.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

• Detail-oriented with strong multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced setting.

• A genuine passion for supporting children, families, and communities served by NAA.

• A commitment to working on a national scale, enhancing training skills, and fostering relationships with community stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Coordination: Develop and manage logistics for both virtual and in-person events, including webinars, trainings, and conferences. Engage with community stakeholders to create impactful events.

2. Data Management: Gather, organize, and analyze survey data, maintaining databases and preparing reports on findings.

3. Marketing Assistance: Utilize design software to create promotional materials and leverage various platforms for program outreach.

4. Webinar Support: Facilitate webinar promotions and provide technical assistance during sessions.

5. Administrative Duties: Offer comprehensive administrative support, including document preparation and correspondence management.

6. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and support.

Additional Information:

This role requires occasional travel for conferences and meetings. NAA conducts background checks on all employees. This position is grant-funded and contingent upon the continuation of grant support.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for the Senior Project Coordinator position is $60,000, accompanied by a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement contributions, and professional development opportunities.
