Job Title: Corporate Facilities Coordinator

At the University of Maryland Medical System, we are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Facilities Coordinator to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in operationalizing plans within the corporate facilities department, ensuring seamless communication, data management, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operationalize Plans: Gather relevant information, collaborate with stakeholders, and translate strategic plans into actionable steps and timelines for implementation.
  • Process Development and Implementation: Develop systematic and sustainable processes for facilities management, implement standardized procedures, and continuously evaluate and improve processes to optimize resource utilization.
  • Communication Management: Serve as a central point of contact for corporate facilities matters, facilitate effective communication between internal departments, external vendors, and stakeholders, and ensure timely dissemination of information and updates.
  • Data Management: Oversee the collection, organization, and maintenance of data related to corporate facilities, develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other tools for tracking facility-related metrics and performance indicators, and generate reports and analytics to provide insights into facility utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, act as a liaison between corporate facilities and other departments, solicit stakeholder input to identify needs, preferences, and areas for improvement in facility management practices, and foster collaboration.
  • Project Coordination: Assist in coordinating facility-related projects, including renovations, relocations, and expansions, coordinate logistics, schedules, and resources, monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure compliance with relevant corporate facilities management laws, regulations, and industry standards, stay informed about changes in regulations and standards related to facility operations, and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing budgets for corporate facilities initiatives and projects, monitor expenditures, track costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings or optimization, and prepare budget reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational enhancement within the corporate facilities function, implement initiatives to drive efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance performance, and encourage continuous improvement and innovation among team members and stakeholders.
