We're seeking a talented Senior Database Manager to join our team in the Fort Meade, MD area. Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deliver database systems that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Manage the life cycle of database systems, including applying patches and upgrades, diagnosing and resolving problems, monitoring and improving performance, and migrating data from legacy systems to modern systems.
  • Select appropriate database technologies for specific requirements, such as online transaction processing systems (OLTP), decision support systems (DSS), data warehouses, object-oriented or other non-relational data stores, real-time systems, and mass storage systems.
  • Acquire data, coordinate data flow, and promote data quality.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Bachelor's degree plus 4-years of relevant experience or Master's degree in plus 2-years of relevant experience. An Associate's degree plus 6-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 8-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
  • Computer Science (CS) degree or related field.
  • TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana.
  • Experience with Linux system administration.
  • Experience with VM environments of various operating systems with tool augmentation.
