Marketing at Brex

The Marketing department is responsible for narrating the Brex story. Our marketing professionals, spanning Brand, Product Marketing, Content, and Growth, are tasked with attracting new clients and possess a profound understanding of our business model. We operate as a highly collaborative team, closely partnering with Product, Sales, Business Development, and Design teams to ensure our prospects and clients understand how we can help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive event and field marketing strategies that align with overarching marketing and business goals.
  • Event Coordination: Manage the planning, organization, and execution of all corporate events, including seminars, conferences, webinars, and client appreciation gatherings. Ensure flawless execution from initial concept through to post-event evaluation.
  • Field Marketing Initiatives: Design and oversee field marketing programs that facilitate lead generation, customer acquisition, and sales support. Collaborate closely with sales teams to ensure alignment with regional sales objectives.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work in tandem with other departments such as sales, product marketing, and corporate communications to ensure cohesive integration of marketing initiatives.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the events and field marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated judiciously to achieve optimal ROI.
  • Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain partnerships with event vendors, agencies, and strategic partners to enhance event execution and maximize sponsorship opportunities.
  • Performance Metrics: Define KPIs and metrics to assess the success of events and field marketing programs. Analyze data to refine strategies and demonstrate ROI to senior leadership.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor a team of events and field marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture. Provide guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth to team members.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years focused on event management and field marketing roles. Previous leadership experience is essential, preferably in a comparable industry or technology-driven environment.
  • Proven leadership, team management, and decision-making capabilities. Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve objectives and exceed expectations.
  • Strong business insight with a demonstrated history of implementing multi-channel marketing initiatives and measuring ROI.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Practical experience with Salesforce, Marketo, or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with SDRs, GTM Ops, AEs, and Sales Leadership.

Compensation Overview

The anticipated salary range for this position is $184,000 - $230,000. However, the initial base salary will be influenced by various factors including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market conditions, and internal pay equity. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may be included as part of a comprehensive compensation package.
