About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Branch Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our branch operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a teller drawer, and opening new accounts as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the assistant branch manager/operations officer with daily branch duties
  • Operate a teller drawer and open new accounts as needed
  • Oversee and coordinate staff duties in all areas of the branch in the absence of the assistant branch manager/operations officer
  • Perform daily Teller or New Accounts functions
  • Delegate duties to appropriate staff
  • Approve large deposits within assigned deposit limits
  • Verify holds placed and releasing of holds in accordance with Reg CC
  • Compile and gather reports needed for the branch
  • Develop and train employees in teller and new account functions and banking
  • Verify branch cash is within specified limits
  • Balance vault cash, ATM cash, and update policies as needed
  • Ability to effectively deal with customers
  • Assist in tracking and reviewing accounts opened in the branch and online
  • Ensure staff is following Haberfeld customer service procedures
  • Complete monthly branch reports
Requirements
  • Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Four years prior banking experience and one year in a supervisor role; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work in a professional and confidential manner
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Possess a high degree of investigative, analytical skills, be detail-oriented
  • Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Word
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to positively promote our organization to customers and co-workers
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
