Job Summary

The IT Application Support Specialist will provide technical assistance and support to various system users, including identifying and resolving system issues, creating or updating SOPs, creating and maintaining access roles and groups, and adding or terminating user access.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications.
  • Research and document requirements of software users.
  • Create and maintain user access on various applications.
  • Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
  • Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines.
  • Install software products for end users as required.
  • Work with IT security administrators, network engineers, system engineers, and other software developers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain a professional work environment and adhere to company standards and policies.
Requirements
  • College degree in computer technology or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience working with enterprise applications, including casino management systems, document management systems, ERP systems, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Hands-on experience working in integrated development environments and knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, SQL Server, and OS400 operating systems.
  • Familiarity with the Casino and Hospitality industry and knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
