Position Summary

DVS is in search of a dedicated, full-time Marketing Account Strategist to enhance our team. The ideal candidate should be personable, highly driven, and detail-oriented. This role involves close collaboration with clients to devise effective marketing strategies (both inbound and outbound) and working alongside internal project teams to develop, implement, and refine these strategies. The individual will act as the primary contact between clients and agency teams, expected to deliver proactive client management while nurturing strong, trusting relationships.

Flexibility in a dynamic, creative environment is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide clients strategically by formulating and executing comprehensive, multi-channel marketing plans with measurable objectives and target audience profiles.
  • Oversee multiple project timelines, coordinating with both internal and external resources under the guidance of cross-functional team members.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to define project scope, develop timelines, and track progress, ensuring deadlines are met while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Analyze data to enhance the effectiveness of client campaigns and ensure alignment with established goals.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients, providing leadership and support throughout the strategy, ideation, and execution phases.
  • Manage client expectations by addressing issues and concerns promptly, offering potential solutions.
  • Engage in new business development initiatives.
  • Work effectively as a remote team member.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread content as necessary.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, including website development, PPC campaigns, and social media.
  • Experience in project management and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to provide data-driven solutions to diverse marketing challenges.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, planning, and writing abilities.
  • Capability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable and easy to collaborate with, possessing a positive demeanor.
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
  • Proficiency in Google Apps (Drive, Calendar, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly assess situations and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience in developing and executing long-term strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Account Management, preferably at a strategic level.
  • Must reside in the Greater Grand Rapids Area.
