About the Role:

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a Lead Marketing Strategist to collaborate with Marketing Managers in addressing the needs of our key business sectors. The Lead Marketing Strategist will engage in account service activities and develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' business and marketing objectives, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and product offerings. This role involves direct interaction with branch managers and loan officers to fulfill their marketing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support assigned business units by managing marketing strategies, projects, materials, and initiatives. This includes overseeing the quality assurance process for marketing outputs to ensure alignment with our brand objectives.
  • Assist in managing content marketing schedules and coordinate earned media activities with internal partners.
  • Direct and oversee the creation of marketing resources to proactively meet the needs of our branches and sales teams, including event management related to marketing outputs.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the client's business landscape and objectives by participating in meetings, conducting competitive research, collaborating with clients and staff, and staying informed on industry trends.
  • Manage the tracking and assessment of various marketing initiatives, providing recommendations for enhancements and delivering analytical reports based on outcomes versus objectives.
  • Ensure timely completion of projects by coordinating with marketing personnel and clients, while keeping all relevant parties informed of progress.
Qualifications:

This position is ideal for candidates who possess:
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in a marketing capacity.
  • A bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or business.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent analytical skills, including budgeting and forecasting.
