About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Analyst for Pricing Strategy to become an integral part of our Financial Planning and Strategy team. This role is essential in shaping our pricing strategies and discount frameworks, particularly for high-value deals that drive significant business growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a knack for structured problem-solving. The ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while collaborating with various business units is crucial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Pricing: Work closely with senior management to determine pricing for major strategic clients. Develop financial models that assess current and projected profitability for these engagements.
  • Mid-Market Pricing: Manage pricing strategies for mid-market and commercial accounts. Collaborate daily with sales teams to devise mutually beneficial deal structures.
  • Discount Optimization: Conduct analyses to evaluate pricing performance and margin optimization. Support enhancements to our discounting strategies based on data-driven insights.
  • Communication with Executives: Prepare detailed pricing approval documents for executive review, highlighting financial implications and pricing rationale.
  • Process Enhancement: Maintain a broad perspective on operations. Assess current processes for efficiency and effectiveness, proposing actionable improvements.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Strategic Finance, Deal Desk, or related fields. Familiarity with B2B SaaS models, particularly those with usage-based pricing, is advantageous.
  • Proficient in developing complex financial models that accommodate various deal structures throughout the negotiation process.
  • Adept at interpreting ambiguous data to derive meaningful conclusions.
  • Collaborative and open-minded, recognizing that multiple approaches can lead to effective solutions.
  • Experience with SQL, Looker, and Salesforce is preferred.
