About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Analyst for Pricing Strategy to be an integral part of our Financial Planning and Strategy team. This role is pivotal in shaping our pricing strategies and discounting methodologies across significant multi-million dollar contracts and our extensive client portfolio.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving. The ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while collaborating with various business units, particularly the sales team, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Pricing: Partner with senior management to determine pricing structures for our major strategic and enterprise clients. Develop models that reflect current and projected financial impacts of these agreements.
- Mid-Market & SMB Pricing: Manage pricing strategies for our Mid-Market and Commercial accounts. Work closely with the sales team to design deal structures that benefit both clients and the company.
- Discount Performance Analysis: Conduct evaluations to assess our effectiveness in optimizing pricing and profit margins. Analyze data to enhance our Discount Framework.
- Communication with Executives: Prepare comprehensive deal approval documentation for executive review, detailing financial implications and pricing analyses.
- Process Optimization: Maintain a broad perspective on operational efficiency. Regularly assess existing processes and proactively suggest enhancements.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in fields such as Investment Banking, Private Equity, Strategic Finance, Deal Desk, Business Operations, or Revenue Operations. Familiarity with B2B SaaS models, particularly those involving usage-based pricing or tangible costs, is advantageous.
- Proficient in developing advanced financial models that accommodate complex deal structures throughout the negotiation process.
- Adept at interpreting ambiguous data to derive actionable insights.
- Collaborative and open-minded, recognizing that multiple approaches can lead to effective solutions.
- Experience with SQL, Looker, and Salesforce is preferred.
