Pure Storage is revolutionizing the way organizations store and manage their data. As a SLED Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving the sales of our innovative data storage solutions to State, Local, and Education customers.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic sales team and contribute to the growth of our business. As a SLED Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

  1. Evangelizing our cutting-edge data storage technology and solutions to customers.
  2. Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities within the SLED customer base.
  3. Developing compelling value proposition strategies and solutions to meet customer needs.
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customized data storage solutions.
  5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  6. Leading pursuit teams and developing account plans to drive sales growth.
  7. Managing a healthy and robust pipeline of sales activity to meet quarterly and annual quotas.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  1. A proven track record of success in SLED sales, preferably in the data storage/SaaS industry.
  2. In-depth knowledge of the SLED procurement process, including experience with RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
  3. Ability to sell complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  5. Ability to assess, plan, and manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
  6. Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders.
  7. Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving reference-able business.

What We Offer

Pure Storage offers a competitive annual base salary range of $113,000 - $169,500, as well as incentive pay and/or equity opportunities. We also offer a variety of perks to support work-life balance, including flexible time off, wellness resources, and company-sponsored team events.
