Pure Storage is revolutionizing the way organizations store and manage their data. As a SLED Account Executive, you will play a critical role in driving the sales of our innovative data storage solutions to State, Local, and Education customers.
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic sales team and contribute to the growth of our business. As a SLED Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Evangelizing our cutting-edge data storage technology and solutions to customers.
- Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities within the SLED customer base.
- Developing compelling value proposition strategies and solutions to meet customer needs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customized data storage solutions.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Leading pursuit teams and developing account plans to drive sales growth.
- Managing a healthy and robust pipeline of sales activity to meet quarterly and annual quotas.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record of success in SLED sales, preferably in the data storage/SaaS industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the SLED procurement process, including experience with RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
- Ability to sell complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Ability to assess, plan, and manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
- Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders.
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving reference-able business.
What We Offer
Pure Storage offers a competitive annual base salary range of $113,000 - $169,500, as well as incentive pay and/or equity opportunities. We also offer a variety of perks to support work-life balance, including flexible time off, wellness resources, and company-sponsored team events.
