Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant 3 plays a vital role in maintaining the highest level of confidentiality while working independently on multiple tasks simultaneously. This position requires strong project and time management skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative duties, including composition of letters and reports, as well as planning, developing, and completing assignments with minimal direction.
  • Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values, and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates conference room reservations, manages office supplies, and resolves environmental service problems.
  • Performs other work-related duties or projects as assigned, such as facility and relocation projects.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma.
  • Five years' administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Proactive and resourceful.
  • Customer-focused.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced software skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, scheduling/calendar software.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and schedules.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to interact effectively and efficiently with all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
