  • Develop and implement efficient financial processes and procedures to improve productivity and accuracy.
  • Ensure all financial deadlines are met, including month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Maintain the general ledger system and ensure its accuracy.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
  • Assist in the annual audit process and respond to audit questions as needed.
  • Provide recommendations to the Controller as needed.
  • Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Utilize best practice standard tools, templates, and methodologies in the delivery of client services.
  • Meet financial accounting objectives.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • 3+ years of industry experience in manufacturing, biotech, medical devices, and fintech highly desired.
  • BS Degree in accounting, finance, or work experience equivalent.
  • 5+ years of prior supervisory experience in a large private or public company.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, JDE, Great Plains, etc.
  • MS Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables, and Macros.

Compensation: Pay is DOE: $65- $80/hr
