Join Randstad as an Accounting Manager and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and technical skills. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with GAAP/IFRS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the monthly and quarterly close process, including maintenance of close calendars and checklists, review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of results for the US and international subsidiaries.
  • Manage, coach, and mentor a small team responsible for cash, prepaid expenses, other assets, fixed assets, accruals, and expense classification.
  • Perform accounting research, ad-hoc requests, and provide technical guidance, while facilitating the accounting team's commitment to timely and accurate processing of accounting transactions in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
  • Own the monthly consolidation and inter-company reconciliations, ensure compliance of the international Services Agreements, and oversee the relationships.
  • Liaise with FP&A and business partners to generate, record, reconcile, and maintain accrual balances and assist with monthly budget versus actual analyses.
  • Apply ASC 842, Leases, and Equity-based compensation accounting.
  • Support internal/external audits of the company's financial statements, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor questions and requests.
  • Review, update, and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with parent company and business unit policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • CPA or CPA candidate highly preferred.
  • 8-10 years of accounting experience, with two years managing.
  • Public accounting experience with a national firm highly preferred.
  • In-depth GAAP knowledge with knowledge of IFRS a plus.
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus.
