We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Ledgent Finance & Accounting. This role will involve managing our accounts payable processes and providing administrative support within our property management division.
Key Responsibilities:- Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing processes and financial reporting.
- Provide administrative support to property management and construction teams as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage and maintain files, documents, and databases related to accounts payable.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to property management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably in property management or real estate.
- Proficient in accounting software (Yardi, Sage 300/Timberline) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of construction accounting practices is a plus.
