Territory Sales Representative

Job Summary:
Ecolab is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing a territory of customers in the quick service restaurant industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate sales and retain existing customers by providing exceptional service, equipment maintenance, and identifying new sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Provide customers with training on sanitation and food safety best practices.
- Manage and maintain equipment and collateral to ensure proper function and appearance.
- Complete required reports and paperwork, including customer contact records and territory management system updates.
- Utilize electronic and paper reports to communicate with customers, district manager, and home office.
- Manage inventory levels and merchandising to support customer needs.
- Obtain knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles and their application for our customers.
- Complete ICFSM exam training and become certified in Food Safety.
- Manage emergency calls, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Manage days out of the field for meetings, vacation, sick/personal time, training, and rollouts with minimal impact to the district's objectives.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 4 years of food industry experience.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- Availability to provide emergency call assistance, which may occur at night, on weekends, and over holidays.
- Microsoft Office experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Mechanical experience (plumbing, electrical) and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Food safety knowledge/experience or CP-FS certification.
- Military experience.
- Previous business-to-business sales experience.
