Job Summary:

Ecolab is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing a territory of customers in the quick service restaurant industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate sales and retain existing customers by providing exceptional service, equipment maintenance, and identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
  • Provide customers with training on sanitation and food safety best practices.
  • Manage and maintain equipment and collateral to ensure proper function and appearance.
  • Complete required reports and paperwork, including customer contact records and territory management system updates.
  • Utilize electronic and paper reports to communicate with customers, district manager, and home office.
  • Manage inventory levels and merchandising to support customer needs.
  • Obtain knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles and their application for our customers.
  • Complete ICFSM exam training and become certified in Food Safety.
  • Manage emergency calls, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Manage days out of the field for meetings, vacation, sick/personal time, training, and rollouts with minimal impact to the district's objectives.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 4 years of food industry experience.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Availability to provide emergency call assistance, which may occur at night, on weekends, and over holidays.
  • Microsoft Office experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Mechanical experience (plumbing, electrical) and ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Food safety knowledge/experience or CP-FS certification.
  • Military experience.
  • Previous business-to-business sales experience.
