This role will add significant value to the organization by spearheading the expansion of Doosan's diverse product portfolio into emerging and underserved markets. This involves generating reports backed by robust data-driven insights for presentation to key stakeholders and executives.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Strategic Initiatives: Identify and explore business opportunities through comprehensive quantitative and qualitative assessments, including vertical and horizontal integrations. Once aligned and approved, mobilize a cross-functional project team with stakeholders from various regions.

Effective Communication: Maintain proactive communication with project leaders to clearly outline project background, objectives, and expected outcomes, ensuring a smooth project launch and effective debriefing with team members.

Market Analysis: Guide and execute detailed market analyses, mentoring Business Development Analyst I by applying established market analysis frameworks to identify optimal product, pricing, distribution, and geographic opportunities.

Strategic Recommendations: Provide actionable insights on strategic direction, develop comprehensive business cases, and formulate actionable plans.

Cross-Functional Engagement: Collaborate across functions to engage key stakeholders effectively.

Project Delivery: Present project outcomes to senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Process Improvement: Continuously monitor and enhance business processes to sustain the growth momentum of newly identified opportunities.

Business Model Development: Formulate various business model options (in-house, outsourcing, partnerships, M&A) and oversee execution upon approval.

M&A Lifecycle Support: Conduct deal evaluations and develop analyses to guide decisions regarding potential acquisitions, investments, and divestitures. Assist senior management in articulating clear rationales and risks associated with proposed transactions through comprehensive presentation materials.

Financial Modeling: Perform advanced financial analyses using Excel to support valuation assessments, including potential synergies and integration costs.

Due Diligence Coordination: Facilitate transaction diligence efforts, collaborating with internal leaders and external advisors, while preparing and maintaining diligence documentation.

Post-M&A Integration: Assist business leaders in formulating growth strategies, deriving strategic initiatives, and designing organizational frameworks.

Thought Leadership: Act as the analytical lead on projects, employing critical and creative thinking to drive fact-based insights.

Leadership Skills: Exhibit strong leadership and influence management capabilities, including the ability to challenge existing norms.

Timely Execution: Address time-sensitive requests from senior management efficiently.

Market Awareness: Maintain an external perspective by staying informed on consumer trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors.

Team Development: Collaborate with direct management to enhance team competencies through a growth-oriented mindset.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Economics.

Experience: 2-5 years in a relevant field.

Travel: Willingness to travel 10-24% of the time.

Skills: Proficiency in data analytics, problem-solving, MS Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills are essential.
