KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate monthly financial reports for designated properties and associated entities.
  • Aid in the formulation and oversight of annual operating budgets, delivering comprehensive variance analysis and strategic recommendations.
  • Supervise cash reserves and evaluate anticipated cash flows to enhance financial outcomes.
  • Perform detailed monthly reconciliations of general ledger and balance sheet accounts to guarantee accuracy.
  • Collaborate with community managers and cross-departmental teams to address financial challenges and meet property goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Over 5 years of pertinent experience in property accounting is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software (AppFolio is preferred).
