Summary of Duties:

The Innovative Laboratory invites applications for a temporary, full-time, non-tenure track, 12-month position as a Research Scientist in Immunology.

Research in this laboratory will focus on investigating the role of double-negative T (DN T) cells in antitumor immunity and cancer treatment strategies. DN T cells are crucial in initiating immune responses against tumors and influencing the tumor microenvironment. Understanding the mechanisms involved will pave the way for new approaches in cancer therapy. We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated researcher to contribute to this groundbreaking project, which is supported by a significant research grant.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute experiments along with data analysis.
  • Prepare manuscripts and presentations for publication and conferences.
  • Offer research guidance to assist laboratory members, including graduate and undergraduate students, interns, and technicians as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, such as Immunology, Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, or related disciplines with substantial expertise in molecular and cellular biology.
  • Practical experience in Immunology and Cancer Biology, including animal models, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, and both in vivo and in vitro bioassays.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity and experience with bulk/single-cell RNA sequencing and bioinformatics.

Annual Salary: $50,000 - $57,000; commensurate with qualifications and experience.
In accordance with applicable regulations, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
