Job Summary

Envisioneering is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior RF Systems Engineer to lead our research and development efforts in naval electronic warfare systems. As a Principal RF Scientist, you will be responsible for providing scientific leadership and technical expertise to support the Naval Research Laboratory's Tactical Electronic Warfare Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply broad experience in research and development of RF spectrum technologies to solve complex problems in defense of naval forces.
  • Work closely with government scientists and engineers to advance existing R&D projects and investigate novel solutions related to RF energy and electronic warfare.
  • Assess studies and phenomenology, and translate technical solutions into proof-of-concept approaches leading to the development and testing of prototype systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement EW systems and high-power microwave systems for DoD applications.
Requirements
  • 20+ years of experience in a physics or engineering field (15+ with PhD).
  • Experience in design, development, and implementation of EW systems or high-power microwave systems for DoD applications.
  • Strong understanding of digital signal processing concepts and communication technologies.
  • Must have demonstrated experience with RF measurements and writing associated test plans.
  • Must have a Top-Secret Clearance.
Education
  • Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Physics or Engineering discipline.
