About the Organization
Massachusetts Nonprofit Network Inc is dedicated to empowering immigrant youth, guiding them towards academic, career, and personal success through transformative experiences. Our mission is to support recently-arrived immigrant students from their middle school years through college, helping them navigate language barriers, cultural adjustments, and community integration. We foster a sense of belonging through a robust network of mentors, tutors, volunteers, and community partners, alongside our dedicated staff. Each student is encouraged to define their vision for their future in education, career, and life, and we provide comprehensive support through various initiatives, including paid internships, academic tutoring, mentoring, extracurricular activities, and college readiness programs.
Our Commitment
With a proud history of assisting English Language Learners for nearly three decades, our organization has evolved from its roots in community services to focus exclusively on direct support for immigrant students. We have expanded our reach, serving over 200 students across various educational stages and institutions. Our team comprises 12 full-time staff members and around 150 volunteers, operating with a budget of approximately $2 million and a well-established endowment.

Executive Director Role
We are seeking a visionary Executive Director to lead our organization with passion and strategic insight. This leader will collaborate with our staff and Board to shape our organizational strategy, ensuring we have the necessary resources and infrastructure to achieve our objectives. As the primary advocate for our mission, the Executive Director will spearhead our fundraising and partnership initiatives to enhance our visibility and strengthen our community relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Organizational Leadership: Guide the team in evaluating and refining our strategic direction, fostering collaboration to align work plans with our goals.
- Team Development: Cultivate a supportive work environment that promotes growth and development for our diverse staff.
- Fundraising: Lead the development team in executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, focusing on expanding our individual donor program.
- External Relations: Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, enhancing partnerships that align with our mission.
- Board Governance: Facilitate Board recruitment and engagement, ensuring informed decision-making and effective support for Board activities.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong belief in the potential of immigrant students and a commitment to fostering inclusive communities. They will have a proven track record in leadership, strategic planning, and nonprofit fundraising, with the ability to inspire diverse audiences. A strategic thinker, the Executive Director will adeptly navigate organizational change while promoting a positive and equitable workplace culture.
Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and generous paid time off.
