Enroot is dedicated to empowering immigrant youth to achieve their academic, career, and personal aspirations through transformative experiences. We provide essential support to recently-arrived immigrant students from their eighth grade through college years, assisting them in navigating a new language, culture, and community.

The Executive Director Role
We are seeking a visionary Executive Director who will lead our organization with passion and commitment to our mission. The new leader will collaborate with staff and the Board to steer our strategic direction, ensuring we have the necessary resources and infrastructure to achieve our objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organizational Leadership: Guide the team in assessing and refining the organization's strategic direction, supporting necessary changes and progress toward goals.
  • Team Leadership: Maintain a supportive work environment that promotes growth and development for our diverse team, ensuring a culture of inclusivity and belonging.
  • Development: Lead the fundraising strategy to generate approximately $2M annually, focusing on expanding our individual donor program.
  • Partnerships: Cultivate relationships within the community, positioning Enroot for collaborative opportunities that align with our mission.
  • Board Governance: Support the recruitment of diverse Board members and ensure effective Board engagement.
