Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a diverse range of administrative, operational, financial, and office management duties.
  • Manage a high volume of communications, including answering, screening, and redirecting calls, as well as taking messages.
  • Oversee accounting functions, including purchase orders, payables, budgeting, expense reporting, and vendor management.
  • Implement and uphold HR and operational policies and procedures, encompassing onboarding, benefits administration, contract negotiations, and management.
  • Lead the recruitment process by sourcing exceptional candidates, tracking applications, managing a talent pipeline, and fostering an effective team.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities and responsibilities as required.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Proactively anticipate organizational needs and address them resourcefully.
  • Assist the CEO with communication coordination, agenda organization, logistical planning, and follow-up on action items as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in operations, office management, accounting, and administrative roles.
  • Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with state and federal employment regulations.
  • Experience in a startup environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to work diligently, take direction, and foresee challenges and solutions independently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to draft correspondence and content.
  • Proactive and responsive, capable of thriving under tight deadlines and adapting to rapidly changing demands.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities, demonstrating capacity to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with meticulous attention to detail.
