Senior Construction Project Scheduler

Our client, a prominent and reputable entity in the electrical utility sector, is seeking a Senior Construction Project Scheduler to enhance their operations.
The role of the Project Scheduler is crucial in orchestrating team efforts and assisting Project Managers by crafting and scrutinizing intricate project timelines with minimal oversight.
This position entails:
- Planning, updating, and sustaining project schedules.
- Monitoring progress and managing reporting frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs).
The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and adept in scheduling methodologies, capable of engaging with various stakeholders, including execution teams and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project schedules utilizing critical path techniques, ensuring all deliverables and scope are accurately depicted.
- Facilitate schedule review discussions with stakeholders, delivering updates, analyses, and highlighting potential risks to project timelines.
- Enforce project management standards and assist in maintaining compliance with organizational protocols.
- Conduct schedule and cost integration, including Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Cost Performance Index (CPI), while providing periodic summary reports featuring essential metrics and KPIs.
- Guide and mentor junior schedulers, proposing and developing 'What-If' scenarios to tackle scheduling challenges.
Qualifications:

- Project Management
Entry Level: No prior experience required with a qualified Associate's or Bachelor's degree; candidates with a High School Diploma must have a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
Associate Level: Candidates with a Bachelor's degree require one (1) year of relevant experience; those with an Associate's degree need three (3) years; and those with a High School Diploma or GED must have six (6) years of experience.
Senior Level: A Bachelor's degree with four (4) years of relevant experience is required; an Associate's degree with six (6) years of relevant experience is also acceptable.
Experience in scheduling within Transmission, Substation, Construction, or Engineering is preferred. Proficiency in P6 is mandatory for senior level positions.
Licenses/Certifications:
PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
