  • Contracting Processes: Understand the processes involved in construction contracting.
  • Interdepartmental Interface: Collaborate with various departments within the organization to understand data structures and develop methods for capturing data in estimates.
  • Conflict Resolution: Develop and apply conflict management skills to resolve disputes and maximize synergies, always aiming to act in the best interest of the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support ongoing improvement initiatives within the company and department.
  • Mentorship: Provide training and guidance to junior employees as needed, demonstrating growth in various competencies.
  • Development of Analysts: Mentor and guide junior analysts through structured training plans if designated as a mentor by management.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, coupled with two years of applicable experience; or an Associate's degree with four years of relevant experience.
  • Degrees must be from an accredited institution and may include fields such as Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or Project Management.
  • Experience should encompass utility-specific operations knowledge and a solid understanding of relevant work processes and procedures.
  • Experience should ideally combine planning, project management, project controls (including scheduling, cost tracking/analysis, forecasting, project budgeting, and familiarity with accounting principles), and/or construction management.
